A-to-Z of Activism #ThemeReveal #SundaySalon
For this year’s A to Z Challenge, my theme is activism. I’ve been a Black Lives Matter activist for over a decade. That doesn’t make me an expert in activism, but it likely means that I’m one of the more experienced people participating in the A to Z blog challenge and among my fellow book bloggers.
I hope to learn as much as I share. What are your experiences with activism? What do you want to know more about? What makes activism hard for you? What makes activism a delight for you?
I usually write and schedule all 26 of my A to Z posts before April begins. But I just decided, today, to participate this year. So, clearly, I won’t be able to stay very much ahead of the game. I took a half-hour this morning to brainstorm with a dictionary and did manage to come up with at least one idea for each letter — that’s a promising start. I’m going to trust that it will all come together as we move through April.
Are you participating in April’s A to Z Challenge this year?
Good luck with the challenge. Having a plan for each letter is an important preoaration. Look forward to following along.
Good luck with the challenge Joy! It sounds like you like to advance plan as much as I do!
Enjoy the challenge!!!
I’ve got my posts almost completed. Look forward to following your a to z.
I look forward to reading your challenge posts in April. I was raised by people who believed in speaking out against injustice. My Grandpap, in particular, was the union labor leader at Dow in a very non-union state. He had experienced the Great Depression as a young machinist working in a steel mill. I eagerly want to learn more from you about activism, Joy.
That’s a good goal and challenge, looking forward to your posts.
Good luck with the challenge. Have a great week!
No. I’m not participating in that challenge but I am creating one for myself to read poetry books in honor of National Poetry Month. Good luck with your activism. Good for you!

I look forward to reading your posts. I’ve been working on a similar thing for awhile. Some letters are easy, some I’m still trying to figure out.
