Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
I’m not doing that well. Not really sick, but passing head and tummy problems. My current theory is allergy-induced sinus congestion combined with stress.
I probably wouldn’t be exercising at all right now, but I’ve got this daily streak of exercise that’s closing in on nearly two-and-a-half years. So, that’s pretty motivating to make sure I do a little something every day. I do find that my bouts of blahs are shorter and less damaging to my ability to function when I continue to exercise. I’m glad I have the streak to encourage me to keep it up.
How does exercise and illness work for you?
Sympathy loves company. First my sister was visiting for a week and although we did some walking not much exercise and more eating and of course fun. Then I tweaked my back somehow. Not my old lady sciatic but the other side and that kept me on the heating pad for a couple of days. And I have had a flurry of migraines. All this has kept me from my exercise. Since I don’t have the chain not to break I have to force myself to get back to it! Good luck Joy!!!
