Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
I was off pace to meet my goal of 1200 minutes last week, but I caught up! Now I’m right on track. I’d like to get a little ahead this week. Holiday celebrations might get in the way of my average 40-minute daily exercise sessions. I’ll enjoy them more if I’ve already banked some minutes.
How will the holidays impact your exercise?
I’m hoping to keep my steps up, but the holidays get tough. Between celebrations and playing the organ/piano at church events I don’t get a lot of free time. And I’ve got to do a bunch of extra piano practice because I’m accompanying some kids next month at solo and ensemble. Sitting on a piano bench is not much exercise.
Good for you on catching up! I plan on keeping up with my exercise even with the holidays, but know that some days may be harder than others.
