Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
I met my October goals of 1300 minutes and 4 DVD workouts. For November, I plan to increase the variety with a goal of 1300 minutes, including 8 DVD workouts.
I started my current streak of daily exercise on July 1 — so it’s been going strong for four months!

Four months!! Go Joy!
As I said on my blog yesterday, “I’ve decided to alternate exercising (MWF) and meditating (TThS).” I spent an hour exercising yesterday, as planned, and felt good afterwards. Today’s been super-busy, so I guess it’s time to do my Tuesday meditating. I plan to spend an hour practicing the piano in a bit, when there’s no one in the big room downstairs with a piano. Playing the piano is relaxing for me and puts me in a good mood.
Four months – that’s awesome!
