Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
My back is slowly healing. I haven’t broken my daily exercise streak (every day since November 1), but I just barely held on. I’m taking a slow short walk every day and plan to continue with that for now. The only exercise goals that I set for March were to not break my streak and to get better!

It sounds like your back is really giving you trouble. I hope you’re able to continue to hold on and it gets better soon.
As for me, I’m going to continue taking walks every other day.
I hope your back feels better soon. It sounds like you’re doing the right thing by taking it a bit easy until it heals.
I walk my dog an hour or more every morning. I also like to play tennis a few times a week and yoga once a week. I hope your back feels better soon!
Still meeting your daily exercise goal even though you’re in pain is very inspirational. Not much is more painful than a hurt back. I hope your’s feels better soon. And be careful not to injure it more.
Speaking of backs, both my parents broke their backs. My dad broke his once when he was a teen and once when he was about 45. He never complained but we all could tell how bad it hurt even many years later. My mom fell in the bathroom in her late 60’s and broke her back.
