Havana Views #SaturdaySnapshot
During the Havana portion of our trip to Cuba, we stayed at the Hotel Capri. I mentioned this in my review of Havana Nocturne because it’s one of the hotel-casinos that the Mob built in the 1950s.

The bartender at the rooftop bar of the Hotel Capri decided that Rick looked like Ernest Hemingway, with his beard and canvas hat. After that, he insisted that we order daiquiris! It’s a good thing that it turned out we liked them.
Here are my previous posts about Cuba, most shared as Saturday Snapshot posts at West Metro Mommy Reads:

Your photos are outstanding! The top shot looks like a painting. You and Rick really capture the colors that resonate with thoughts of Cuba!
In Key West there is an annual Hemingway look a like contest. FYI!
I really enjoy looking at your pictures! It seems like you had a wonderful trip.
Beautiful photos. I’m curious about Cuba and would love to visit in the future, especially after seeing your pictures.
I love this visit to Havana that you’ve given us here. I’m currently reading a new book set in Cuba – Dreaming In Cuban by Christina Garcia. Thanks for sharing all the pictures Joy.
What a great trip! I know so few people who have been to Cuba, so it is great to see these pictures!
The photos you’ve shared from Cuba are quite extraordinary. Thank you so much.
