Back from Cuba #ReadersWorkouts

Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
Sorry I wasn’t as responsive as usual last week — I was in Cuba! I didn’t even attempt to get on the internet. We had a great trip! I’ll post more about it on Saturday with some photos.
My exercise goals for October didn’t include the Cuba portion of the month, but I had a secret goal to walk at least 8000 steps most days — I achieved that all but one day! I also promised myself that I would get right back to my daily exercise on the day after my return. I walked 45 minutes yesterday, so I’m on track for that goal, too!
- 680 of 880 minutes
- 15 of 17 days with 8000 steps or more
- 3 of 6 strength-training sessions
How is your exercise going? Share on your blog and link your post below. Or tell your story in the comments. Be sure to visit the other participants for support and encouragement.
I can’t wait to see your Cuba pictures!
Look at you! I love how you make exercising a priority! My exercise isn’t going at all right now since I’m in the midst of a move. Maybe it’ll get going soon. I can’t wait to learn more about your trip to Cuba!
Really can’t wait for your Cuba pix! My walking week wasn’t as good as yours and I didn’t have Cuba as a distraction/excuse!
New casting news on The Girl on the Train, btw, with October 7th set for next year as the release date.
Welcome home!
You did very well with exercise! Great number of steps you got in. I will bet you did loads of walking in Cuba.
I know we are all anxious to see photos of your trip!! So exciting.
Welcome back! I can’t believe you did all that walking even while you were gone. Wonderful!
