Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
I managed to get my exercise about half-way to my monthly goal at the half-way point in the month. I always feel more hopeful when that happens! How is your exercise going in December?
If you are considering New Year’s Resolutions for fitness (or other topics), check out the New Year’s Resolution Reading Challenge.
For Readers’ Workouts, talk about your fitness activities on your blog (feel free to grab the logo) and link to your post below or join us in the comments! Be sure to visit the other participants to see how we all did.
My karate instructor taught us a new move, “sweep the leg”! It’s a very small sweep, more a nudge to knock someone out of their planned next move. I tried it on him, and on another opponent, and it worked!
Fun part of the night was fighting a 6ft plus guy, I did something that would have resulted in him hitting me, he knew it and froze, “I saw YOUR life flash before my eyes” he said.
I walk 3 miles, 6 days a week but admit it can be hard to fit in this time of year.
Nice job! The reading challenge sounds fun, I definitely need to find more time to read… My workouts have been going pretty well, just feeling some calf pain because of the Runner’s World Run Streak going on.
