Mid-June Report #ReadersWorkouts
Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
On Sunday, the 15th of June, I completed 700 minutes of the 1400 minutes I plan to exercise in June. I love when I hit the mid-point of the month and the middle of my goal at the same time!
How is your exercise going in June? For Readers’ Workouts, talk about your fitness activities on your blog (feel free to grab the logo) and link to your post below or join us in the comments! Be sure to visit the other participants to see how we all did.
Congrats on being on track for your minutes goal!!
Just noticed I forgot to delete the rest name from a previous post…duh!
Fixed!
I have a date for my second degree brown belt test and it is this Wednesday! I did two and a half hours in the studio last night practicing and sparring, my instructor says I can spar on my test if I want, but most people don’t want to after he’s worked them through everything else plus the kicks and punches
Cool! What does one say to someone taking a karate test? It seems too much like a performance to jinx it with “Good luck,” but “break a leg” is way too literal.
Congratulations, Joy! That is a lot of exercise if my math is correct
Fantastic achievement. It feels so good to hit those goals. I like that my fitbit pushes me to walk that extra bit to hit 10K steps.
The FitBit has been helping me a lot, too. I’ll walk around when I’m taking a break instead of playing a computer game or something. I sometimes even walk down a couple of flights of stairs and back up!
