Sunshine blows away nightmares #SundaySalon
Time: // 8:58 am.
The scene: // Sunny! And we’re expecting several quite warm days after a week of mostly grey and cool ones.
Listening to: // My Good Morning playlist on Spotify. I added “Let it Go” from Frozen to the end of it a couple of weeks ago — that seems to get my day off to a good start!
Reading: // I’m trying to finish the never-ending book, Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson because the library won’t let me renew it anymore.
Watching: // We saw Hanna last night and it literally gave me nightmares.
Blogging about: // How to choose a book that works for you to support a healthy lifestyle.
Participating in// Armchair BEA. Registration is a simple form. I wasn’t going to sign up as a volunteer cheerleader since this is my first time with Armchair BEA, but I had such fun being a cheerleader for Dewey’s Read-a-thon that I decided to go for it. The volunteer deadline is May 16.
What are you up to this fine Sunday?
I’ve never really participated that much in Armchair BEA. If I can, I will this year!
Wish I could go to the real BEA but it’s not in my budgeted trips this year!
Have fun as a volunteer for the Armchair BEA!

I was fortunate to attend BEA in person in 2010, but have not participated since. Perhaps this year I can join in the Armchair event. Thank you for the reminder!
gosh is it BEA time again. thanks for the alert Joy – I’m now registered
Oh, it’s always disappointing to run out of renewals! honestly, as long as no one is waiting for the book, I’ll sometimes keep one for a bit and just figure the fine is my way of contributing to the library while still spending less than if I bought the book
I actually checked out Quicksilver years ago and I don’t know that I even started before I had to return it. It seemed like an interesting book though, so perhaps I should revisit it!
I can’t believe how fast the weekend goes! I’ve started a new book club book, but hate to tear myself away from the audiobook I’m listening to, The Storied Life of A .J . Fikry. Love it!
