Quicksilver, Bloggiesta, & new things about me #SundaySalon
Time: // 8:32 am.
The scene: // Cooler today — but it was warm enough yesterday for my first gardening work of the year!
Listening to: // My Pandora radio station called childhood radio — what I listened to in the 1970s.
Reading: // I’m back to Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson — such a long book. But I keep coming back to it! I’m in the second “book” now which is completely different from the first — new characters and the setting is continental Europe rather than Massachusetts and England. I’m learning so much about life in the 1600s.
Blogging about: // My appearance on Book Bloggers International — did you catch it? They asked fun questions that drew out things about me that I haven’t written about on my blog before. Check out the feature to learn about my early reading memories, how I decide when a book is a DNF, and what books intimidate me.
Participating in// The sign up linky is up at Bloggiesta. Bloggiesta starts on a Thursday this month – the 27th. I’ll get my sign up post up soon. I’m really looking forward to this one.
What are you up to this fine Sunday?
I’ll be sure to check out your feature, Joy! What are you planning to plant in your garden today? My son has been asking me to plant from dragon carrots.
Enjoy your day.
It’s still too cold to plant today — but carrots can be planted pretty early. Dragon carrots could be fun!
I really should participate in Bloggiesta but things are just too busy right now. I am going to try to follow along as much as I can.
Have a great week!!
Ooops. I thought this was your sign up post when I looked at your link on Google Plus. *Sigh* Now I have to return later to see what you’re doing.
I’m off to read your BBI feature now…and might see you at Bloggiesta next weekend. I won’t be around on Twitter, though, but probably will end up visiting some blogs.
I am also going to do Bloggiesta; hope to see you there
I am looking forward to Bloggiesta too!!! I always get sooo much done. I make a huge effort when it comes around.
