Winter Mini Bloggiesta — Sign-up Post

This weekend is a mini-Bloggiesta, two days of working on our blogs and social media tasks in the company of others tackling the same issues.

Here is my to-do list:

Backup WordPress site with FileZilla
Backup blog with WordPress tools
Install WordPress updates
Figure out Google Authorship and make the needed change to my blog
Investigate how to get more and do more on Google+
Join the Twitter Chat on Saturday night

That’s it! It’s driving me nuts how much material I have to look through about Google+ and how little I’ve actually done with it, so I’m going to take this weekend to figure more of it out.

I did Google Authorship a while back. Tasha (@heidenkind) had a great article over at Book Bloggers International on how to do this that I think was super helpful. If you are interested, I can find the link and share it with you!

I’m backing up my whole computer today, something I definitely don’t do often enough, and thanks to everyone who had it on a to-do list to remind me to do it too. I haven’t finished The Happiness Project yet, or started my other New Year’s Resolution Challenge book. Bloggiesta is taking up my time today! You seem to be doing great!
