Readers’ Workouts — October 8
Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where we share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
My exercise went well during my conference. One day, I skipped two sessions and took a 2-hour walk. That made up for other days when I didn’t do as well. I’m currently a little ahead of schedule for reaching 1400 minutes in October and I’ve maintained my daily exercise streak.
We’ve enjoyed our walks the last couple of days now that it’s cooler — it feels like fall!
How was your exercise for the first week of October? What plans do you have for this week? Answer on your blog (feel free to grab the logo) and link to your post below or join us in the comments! Be sure to visit the other participants to see how we all did.
How was your exercise for the first week of October?
Not great but better than nothing.
What plans do you have for this week?
None. Post-honeymoon chaos and I’m waiting for a routine to fall into place before I try to do more.
Joy, Thank you for the suggestion re. the book. When I do squats, I lift my toes, forcing me to put my weight back on my heels but that may not be enough to fully protect my knees. How thick a book do you use? I have everything from DVD thick to Oxford English Dictionary thick and I wouldn’t want to use something too thick or thin. Again, thank you.
You’re doing great Joy! I’m doing a little better. I thought I was getting over the cold/flu, but it keeps trying to creep back on me. I’m just thankful to have some ok days.
