Château d’Artigny
Our second hotel was the Château d’Artigny, built in the early 20th century by perfumer Francois Coty in the style of an 18th century chateau. We stayed in an annex across the way, so this was the view from our balcony. We walked across the formal garden to our meals in the chateau.
I’m linking today’s photo to Saturday Snapshot at West Metro Mommy Reads. Check her post today for more photos around the web.
Oh, my! Gorgeous hotel. I could get used to that view.
Wonderful view! Thanks for sharing…and enjoy your weekend.
Here’s MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
It’s been so long since I’ve been to the chateaux in France, but your picture captured my breath in the memory (and longing to return)! My mother’s favorite was Chenonceaux (sp?) but I remember liking a very solid one which harbored Joan of Arc as well.
What a beautiful building. It looks like an estate.
The photo looks fake because everything is so perfect, even the sky. Here’s Mine
I meant that in a good way.
No worries! I took it in a good way.
The view is a magnetic field. I don’t know how one can resist.
snazzy!
What a lovely place to stay! It looks like you did a lot of wonderful things in France (I finally got a chance to look back through the posts).
It would be amazing to see that in person, let alone stay there overnight!
Thanks for sharing your vacation photos with us!!
Awesome!!
Here is my snapshot post
