Bloggiesta Spring 2013 — The Party Starts Tomorrow!
The Spring Bloggiesta starts tomorrow! I didn’t manage to write up a mini-challenge for this one, but I updated my two previous ones: Evernote and Pinterest. If I open up comments on old posts, I’ll be doing nothing this weekend but going through spam. Instead, I’m going to monitor the comments on this post, so if you have questions or want to discuss Evernote or Pinterest, fire away!
I had an idea for a mini-challenge: social media estate planning. I’ve seen this discussed in other places, but I haven’t seen it mentioned in the book blogosphere. The idea is, if something went terribly wrong, who and how would that be announced on my blog and other social media? Or would I just disappear and no one would ever know? Is that too macabre of a subject for Bloggiesta? Or do you like the idea? If there’s some interest, I’ll plan to do some research before the fall Bloggiesta.
Here, should be where I write my list of things I want to do for the three days of Bloggiesta. But, I haven’t had a chance to figure it out. I can lay my hands on two different lists of ideas, though, so that’s a start. So my first item for Bloggiesta tomorrow is:
1. Make a list of things to do for Bloggiesta
Hope to see you at the party!

I think that’s a great idea, honestly. I would want SOME kind of note going out to my readers if anything ever happened to me…probably by my husband…but how would he know to do it if I don’t ask him? Good point.
Estate planning is definitely a good topic. I think it’s wise to make arrangements for the unmentionable, because we make a lot of friends via internet and it would be a great shame if no one was ever able to contact us.
Joy, I think that is a FANTASTIC idea!!!
I like the idea!
