Readers Workouts — February 12
Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, our weekly gathering of bookish folks doing active things. How was exercise for you in the past week? What are your plans for the coming week? My first HIIT workout last week was a hit. Heh. I probably didn’t push as hard as I could have, but that’s the beauty of a treadmill workout — everything is measurable. I took notes, so I can bump up the intensity a little every time until it feels right. I’d rather under-exercise with a plan for gradual increase than over-do it the first time and abandon the effort before I’ve really started.
I’m doing a HIIT workout as part of the 12K Challenge at Team Kickin It by Sheila of Book Journey. It started officially on February 1, but there’s still plenty of time to join.
