Dewey’s Read-a-Thon End of Event
I woke up early this morning, so I get to catch the tale end of Dewey’s Read-a-Thon. I could, of course, read. But I’ve done so little of that, why break the streak now? I thought I’d spend the last half hour cheering on the people who have actually been reading during the Read-a-Thon.
Most of the End of Event meme questions don’t really apply since I read so little, so I’ll answer the ones that I have interesting things to say about.
How many books did you read? Parts of three.
What were the names of the books you read? I finished The Amazing Adventures of Dietgirl by Shauna Reid. I also read a few chapters in Content Rules by Ann Handley and C.C. Chapman and a couple of scenes in King Lear. Not the usual sort of thing one reads for Readathon. Although I have had good luck with memoirs in the past.
For all that I haven’t participated much, that’s more than I would have read had it not been Readathon and I have enjoyed visiting blogs and monitoring the Twitter stream a little.
How was your Readathon?
