Georgian Doors of Dublin
I think I’m calling my Ireland photo project done — it only took three months. I’ve pulled together all of the sets into a collection so that they can be viewed in chronological order: Ireland Trip 2012. If you like the Georgian doors, there are more in the last set.

We went Ireland in 2011 and I loved walking in Dublin looking at the fabulous doors. I bought a set of bookmarks of the doors as a keepsake. Thanks for sharing photos.
There are some great doors in Dublin-love the pink one.
Gorgeous doors! And anything “Ireland” gets my vote. I am surrounded by photos of Ireland in my bedroom, taken by my eldest son when he lived there for six months in the mid-nineties.
Here’s MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
I love, love, love these doors! There are a few townhouses in NYC with these doors and I love to walk past them. But the colors on the Dublin ones are much more vibrant.
Oh, I love charming doors! These are lovely.
Those doors are lovely, although I’m not sure I could live with the bottom one.
If it trended just a little more to the purple side, it would be perfect for me!
Those are gorgeous! I could see going around and taking photos of those all day.
I spent a good part of one afternoon doing just that!
Beautiful doors! I have a similar affection for windows. When I went to Paris last year I took many many photos of windows. They’re all just lovely over there in Europe.
I love looking at doorways, especially in Paris, as Trish said. I always wonder what’s happening behind the doors! My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/W9O2Z
I loved the Dublin doors too, and the story that they were all different colours so that husbands could find their door after an outing to the pub.
One of the cab drivers told us that!
Enjoyed looking at the photographs!
Here is my Saturday Snapshot post!
Oh! Give me #91, some caulk, a few buckets of paint and a gardening budget and that entryway would truly shine! Love those gorgeous fanlights! Makes me want to see what’s inside too!
Ah, to be in Dublin!
Yeah — I wanted one that wasn’t perfect because it seems so full of potential.
I love photos of doors and those are all lovely!!
I love doors and doorways and arches and such, too! I’m especially fond of that pink one!!!
