Book Blogger Appreciation Week Ends
Today is the last day of Book Blogger Appreciation Week 2012, but, really, we appreciate each other all year ’round, don’t we? So, don’t be sad. It’s not the appreciation that ends, merely the intensity.
Our task today is to wrap up the week by answering these questions: what did you get out of this week? What will you take with you in the future?
First, thanks to everyone behind the efforts that made Book Blogger Appreciation Week happen. It was fun!
Here are some highlights:
The warm fuzzy feeling from seeing the renewed excitement for book blogging that Cass expressed on Bonjour, Cass this morning: BBAW: I May Have to Use the Word ‘Awesomesauce’ For This Week
Learning about The Classics Club, All About the Classics Club!. I think I saw something about this but seeing it all written up in one place made it so much more clear. Thanks to Adam of Roof Beam Reader for writing it and BBAW for posting it.
My interview with Kelly, The Well-Read Redhead, Book Blogger Interview for BBAW, and her interview with me, BBAW Day 2: Interview Swap with Joy’s Book Blog!
Suey’s enthusiasm for The Forsyte Saga: BBAW 2012: Read This Book! at It’s All About Books.
Watching the book lovers parody of “Call Me, Maybe” that I learned about at Rinn Reads: Video: Open Books ‘Call Me Maybe’ Parody. I found her because she commented on my blog. She found me because, Kelly, The Well-Read Redhead, interviewed me. That’s just the kind of circle of connections that makes Book Blogger Appreciation Week so fun!
How was your week?
