I must see Ireland! I must!!!
My eldest son lived there for several months while taking a break from college…and I’ll always enjoy his photos from Ireland. There’s something very memorable about ruins, too.
Here’s MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
If you like photos of ruins, you’ll like the day that we visited Mellifont Abbey and Monasterboice.
Thanks for sharing, I would love to go to Ireland someday! I’ll have to google your subject matter.
Come see my snapshot for today.
Wonderful photos, especially the last one!
Beautiful photos.
That house is wonderful–and the gate is just magical!
Beautiful shots, I really want to visit Ireland, it’s on my to-travel list. Thanks for sharing your pictures
Gorgeous – all three of them! Makes me want to spend an afternoon exploring and perhaps take along a picnic lunch.
Beautiful photos. I was fortunate to spend two weeks in Ireland in 2010 and visit Kilmacurragh. Great images!

Ruins are so wonderful. So many stories to tell. S many possibilities!
Love the iron gateway, and the poppies. Ireland is a beautiful country.
Joy, I adore your purple theme. It truly brings me joy! The pictures of the ruins are lovely especially the walled garden. Reminds me of The Secret Garden, one of my old childhood favorites.
Ireland is on my list of places to visit as soon as possible!
your phots are gorgeous this week! I love the castle against that fabulous sky an dht eold gate covered with vines. Beautiful. Here’s my photo: http://barbarathehealthynut.blogspot.com/2012/07/gone-hikin.html
Ireland is one of my must-see places in the world. I’ve been to England several times, and Scotland too, but not Ireland. Thanks for all these photos, they’re beautiful, I esp. like the last one.
Beautiful, beautiful. The green is so much more viridian than England, and don’t you love the wildflower meadows? I love the whole UK way of leaving a little wilderness for the small squeeky things amongst the manicured gardens.
That looks such a beautiful place, lovely photos.
So beautiful…and another place I’ve always wanted to visit. One day…
