Saturday Snapshot — Muckross House in County Kerry
Muckross House is near Killarney, Ireland in a national park. We were there for the garden, so we didn’t see the inside of the house or some of the other interesting sites.
There are more photos from our Ireland trip, including detailed shots of the interior of the greenhouse at Muckross House, on my Flickr page: Joy’s Photostream.

That Rhododendron is spectacular! Not only its size, but its colour as well. Wow.
Oh I love that first picture. How gorgeous. I want to go there!!!
That tree and those rhododendrons are magnificent!
Wow, those rhododendrons are insane. I will never look at the ones here the same again.
Your first photo is so dramatic – just the sort of setting for a mystery novel. And the huge rhododendrons are just beautiful – I wouldn’t want them in my garden though!
I love that greenhouse, and the way the ground is covered on petals from the rhododendron. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/ha45K
Joy, that rhode shot is stunning. Love the color as well.
Love the Rhodo shots, WOW they are very large.
Wow, that house is gorgeous–and what a fantastic rhododenron!
Each of those photos is gorgeous! What a beautiful place to visit.
Oh wow that Rhody is absolutely beautiful. Wish mine grew that large!
My goodness! I didn’t realize rhododendrons could grow so huge!
Here’s my Snapshot.
That greenhouse is amazing! The house is really lovely.
My Snapshot
Wow, such a beautiful house, that first photo is very gorgeous. As is the rhododendrons, they grow very well where I live too, they’re stunning.
I love how the gray mood of the sky in the first photo contrasts with the vibrant rhodo in the third photo.
