I loved my first Book Blogger Appreciation Week! Thanks to everyone for making it special. Along with commenting and tweeting, I managed three BBAW posts:
- Book Blogger Appreciation Week — Community
- Book Blogger Appreciation Week – Community Part 2
- Book Blogger Appreciation Week — Reading
Some people got a kick out of my low-tech method for keeping track of reading deadlines in that third post.
I also participated in Wondrous Words Wednesday and managed a new post for cpd23, My short-lived Zotero experience.
No book reviews posted, but I started and finished All-American Girl by Meg Cabot — lots of fun!
Reading
I’m nearly finished with Black Magic Sanction by Kim Harrison, my second RIP VI challenge book. I continue working my way through What to Eat by Marion Nestle. I’ll probably pick up The Women of the Cousins’ War by Philippa Gregory, David Baldwin, and Michael Jones again tomorrow.
Will Read
I need to be working on some of my deadline books, never mind the hay fever. So, maybe Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler for Banned Books Week or Cleopatra: A Life by Stacy Schiff for the From Left to Write Book Club.
You are doing real good. Keep it up. I am still in a reading vacuum regarding novels!!
Here is my Monday: Mailbox/What Are You Reading?/Musings post!
Count me as one of those who loved your low-tech method of keeping track of reading deadlines. I’ve got posties on all of mine now. Thanks.
I read 20 Boy Summer last year and had a problem with it. Don’t let me sway you as it was written well. I look forward to reading your thoughts.
Oh! I’ve got 20 Boy Summer on my Nook and I’ve really been wanting to read it. I can’t wait to hear what you think! Also, dying to read more Meg Cabot, amazing lady!
Have a fabulous reading week and thanks so much for stopping by earlier!
Twenty Boy Summer is at the top of my Banned Book Week reading list as well! It’ll be a fun challenge to read as many banned books as I can these last couple weeks of September.
I really enjoyed BBAW. Happy reading!
