Dewey’s Read-a-Thon
I barely understand what Dewey’s Read-a-Thon is, but I’m going to try it anyway. If I’m calculating correctly, it will start at 7am my time this Saturday morning and end at 7am Sunday morning. Apparently some people actually read for 24 hours. I’ll be sleeping Saturday night. And I’ll need to throw in some exercise in there somewhere, but I may figure out a way to read at the same time–an e-audio book perhaps. Unless I get really prepared ahead of time, I’ll need to take some cooking time as well.
Do you want to join me and over 300 other readers? You don’t need a blog to join — you can update on Facebook or Twitter. Here is the sign-up page.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one confused by what the Read-a-thon is. That doesn’t mean I won’t be joining. But like you there will be sleeping involved. The only thing I love as much as reading is sleeping.
So glad to see you’re joining in! It’s great fun. I did the read-a-thon in October for the first time, but I also participated in some different readathons.
Abuot food – did you see Kristin’s guest post on my blog about food for the read-a-thon. Hope it’s useful.
I’m definitely planning to sleep! I’m starting at 2pm and probably will try to stay away until about 2am, which is really, really late for me. Have fun!
