Broken Streak #ReadersWorkouts

Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
I’m doing great on my exercise minutes — 895 of 1200 minutes I aim to exercise in January. If I average the same minutes for the rest of the month as I have so far, I’ll have no trouble with meeting that goal.
My other goal, however, was to do some form of strength-training or stretching every day. Unfortunately, I broke my streak on Sunday and that was so discouraging that I didn’t do any yesterday, either. Oops! So, I’m going to see if I can get my streak going again today. I definitely notice a difference in how my body feels when I add variety to my workouts.
How is your exercise going?
It’s easy for me to get discouraged when I let things slide. I’ve been having trouble getting back into gear for months now it seems.
Yesterday I added another exercise class to my week, when it started up again after a four-week hiatus. Now I have three times a week I can join others in group exercises. I’ll try to blog about what I’m doing and come back to link up.
Just keep plugging away! I get discouraged but I ultimately want to meet my goals so, power on towards them!
