How Children Succeed — The Back to School Read Along Selection
Thanks to everyone who voted in our Choose our Back to School Read-Along Book survey. We had a close race between Don’t Go Back to School: A Handbook for Learning Anything by Kio Stark and How Children Succeed: Grit, Curiosity, and the Hidden Power of Character by Paul Tough.
The winner is….How Children Succeed by Paul Tough. I don’t have children, but like most adults I’m interested in the success of the next generation. I think this will also have some cross over with some community activities in the next month or two. It looks to me like there will be a self help aspect to this book as well — ways to help children succeed may help me learn how to succeed, too.
Are you planning to read this book?
I’m definitely going to reread this! I even think it’s going to be on my list for this challenge.
