NaNoWriMo
November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) — write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days! I learn, and re-learn, a lot about time management when I take on this challenge. Laura Vanderkam, author of the terrific book about time 168 Hours: You Have More Time Than You Think, allowed me to write a guest post on her blog about NaNoWriMo: 5 Ways NaNoWriMo Improves Time Management.
As I stated in the guest post, this will be my fourth time participating in NaNoWriMo. It will be the first time that I’ve done NaNoWriMo since I started my book blog. So, now I’m curious. What other book bloggers are participating in NaNoWriMo?
I discovered that Amy at Amy’s Book Den is when I was reading some of the It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?posts at Book Journey yesterday. And Sami at Booking It with Runner Sami is setting up NaNoWriMo writing events at her library. Who else? I’ll make a list of names, blog links, and twitter handles.
Edited to add: I’m drafting a list here. I’ll put a separate post up with the list of book blogging NaNoWriMo participants in a few days. Judith of Leeswammes’ Blog is correct that, ultimately, we’ll want NaNoWriMo usernames in this list so that we can be buddies on the NaNoWriMo site. If anyone wants to keep their NaNoWriMo identity secret or separate from your book blogger identity, we can find a less public way to exchange that information. Let me know if you see any errors or want any changes.
Edited to add (31-Oct-2011): The list of book bloggers participating in NaNoWriMo 2011 is now residing at its official home: Book Bloggers Haunt NaNoWriMo.
